Our association was founded in Savona in December, 1987, by Marco Esposto. The activity of this small group of choral music enthusiasts making up the choir is aimed primarily at searching and performing great composers’ choral works, sacred and saecular, from the 19th - 20th C and contemporary repertory.

The choir perfomed in many concerts for a variety of musical and cultural organizations, both a capella and with orchestral accompaniment.

They have taken part into a number of choir gatherings and music festivals and have cooperated with major Italian and international performers. In 1994 it won third place at the National Contest for amateur choirs at Torre Pellice (Torino).

Among our most important productions there are: in 1991 the century’s first Italian performance of the Solemn Mass in A major, op.12 by CÚsar Franck; in 1996 and 1997, respectively  Anton Bruckner’s and Johannes Brahms's death centennial, a series of choral and instrumental concerts based on music by the two composers; in 1999 and 2000, a program dedicated to Mozart's Missa brevis, Church Sonatas and rare "a cappella" pieces; in 2001 a program about Giuseppe Verdi music, in 2007 Dieterich Buxtehude and Edvard Grieg death third and first centennial.
